Home Groups

What is a Church Home Group?

A church home group, often referred to as a small group, cell group, or community group, is a gathering of individuals from a church who come together in a more intimate setting, typically in someone's home. These groups play a vital role in fostering community, spiritual growth, and support among members.

Key Features of Church Home Groups

  • Fellowship: Home groups create a welcoming environment where individuals can build meaningful relationships. Members share their lives, experiences, and faith journeys, creating a sense of belonging.

  • Bible Study and Prayer: Many home groups focus on studying scripture together, discussing its application in daily life, and praying for one another. This collective exploration deepens understanding and strengthens faith.

  • Support and Accountability: These groups provide a safe space for members to share their struggles and triumphs. They offer encouragement, accountability, and practical help, fostering a strong support network.

  • Service and Outreach: Home groups encourage members to live out their faith through action and make a positive impact in their neighbourhoods.
